the accommodation was beyond our expectations, with a comfortable sleeping pod and a separate area with kitchen and bathroom. We were able to sit from our tent and watch lemurs and listen to the sounds of other animals, while also spotting local wildlife like red squirrels and bullfinches. the staff at the camp were incredibly helpful and friendly, making our experience even more wonderful. the animal staff and volunteers had a real passion for what they do, and they were happy to spend time with my inquisitive 6-year-old. the quality of food in the cafes was superb, and free entry to the zoo daily was a great bonus. We left wishing we had stayed longer and would highly recommend staying for a Wednesday or Sunday evening to enjoy the fascinating dusk tours with a keeper after hours. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 😊.

We had an amazing experience at Durrell Wildlife Camp. the free entry into the zoo daily was a fantastic perk, and the zoo itself was impressive and spacious. Despite the unpredictable weather, we enjoyed every minute of our stay. the comfortable bed, storage space, and private kitchen with all necessary facilities added to our comfort. the secluded decked area with loungers provided a peaceful and private space. As a single parent, I felt safe, and the helpfulness of Adam, the warden, was greatly appreciated. Taking our car on the ferry gave us the freedom to explore the beautiful, albeit windy, beaches. Cons: N/A.

Free entry to the wildlife park was a fantastic perk and made our stay even more enjoyable. the park itself was amazing, with a variety of animals and beautiful surroundings. the pods were cozy and comfortable, with a wood burner to keep us warm during the colder nights. the separate kitchen and bathroom were well-equipped and convenient.
The shower taps, which were a bit stiff and hard to adjust. this was a minor inconvenience and did not significantly impact our overall experience.

My mind was blown by the unexpected perks at this amazing place! The glamping pods were super spacious, with individual kitchenettes, log burning stoves, and free Wi-Fi. The privacy and seclusion were jaw-dropping, allowing us to enjoy the views of lemurs and local wildlife from our very own deck. Access to the zoo was included, keeping the kids entertained, and the quality of food in the on-site cafes was top-notch. The staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Can't wait to come back!

I had an amazing stay at this wildlife camp! the location was absolutely breathtaking, with lemurs in the trees and the sounds of other animals from the zoo. the accommodation was beyond my expectations, with comfortable beds and fantastic kitchen facilities. the staff, especially Adam, were incredibly welcoming and helpful. the camp is also perfect for families, with the opportunity to go on a Dusk Tour of the zoo and interact with the dedicated animal keepers. Sitting outside the tent, I was able to spot red squirrels and bullfinches - such a unique experience!
One small suggestion would be to have more places around the camp to donate towards the conservation work.

For the price, the value I got at this glamping facility was worth it. The room was comfortable, with a spacious tent, kitchen, and bathroom. The location was amazing, right next to the zoo, and the staff treated me like a VIP.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast better was if there was a hairdryer available in the room.

Comfortable beds, private showers, and kitchen in tents. Beautiful birdsong and wildlife. Takeout Thai and Pizza available on Friday and Saturday nights. Zoo restaurants serve fancy hot entrees. Tourism dollars benefit wildlife center and conservation projects.

The sleeping pod with a separate kitchen and bathroom was perfect. We enjoyed the decking area with table and chairs, and the close proximity to the lemurs made for great photo opportunities. the camp had all the necessary equipment for cooking, and the added bonus of dusk tours with the keeper after hours was fascinating.

We loved having a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a kitchen. the access to electricity sockets and WiFi was also very convenient. the highlight for us was being able to enjoy free access to the zoo, which was a great experience. the facilities and amenities provided by the camp were excellent.
Felt very special, no complaint.

My son and I had a fantastic stay at Durrell Wildlife Camp. We were stranded on Jersey for a night due to a cancelled flight, and the camp turned our worrying situation into something wonderful. The staff were brilliant, and his geodome tent was cozy and well-equipped. The highlight for him was being woken up by the sounds of lemurs and gibbons in the morning. The location of the camp, right next to the zoo, was magical. Sleeping overlooking the enclosures and listening to the cacophony of animal sounds made for an amazing experience. a fantastic adventure that I hope to experience myself one day.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

The glamping experience was fantastic! the tents were spacious and private, with separate kitchen and bathroom facilities. the log burning stove provided a cozy atmosphere in the evening, and the patio area was a great space to relax. I loved the peacefulness of the surroundings, with the sounds of wild birds and animal noises from the nearby zoo. the staff, especially Adam, were very helpful, and the hand wash areas were conveniently located. a unique and enjoyable staycation option.
It would have been nice if the barbecue facilities were closer to the tents for easier access. having an itemized breakdown of the kitchen items provided would be helpful.
